The most recent report from the Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability (OPPAGA) indicated that while the number of licensed public adjusters in Florida is growing significantly, the incidence of complaints, regulatory actions, and allegations of fraud involving public adjusters is generally low.  The report also found that Florida policyholders filing catastrophic loss claims with public adjuster representation typically received higher settlements than those without public adjusters. In one example concerning hurricane damage, a 747% higher payout was recorded to Florida property owners who utilized a public adjuster in their claim. The OPPAGA is an office of the Legislature and provides data, evaluative research, and objective analyses to assist legislative budget and policy deliberations.

The NIRC is an independent 501c3 non-profit organization that is devoted to protecting and educating property owners and restoration contractors when dealing with insurance claims. NIRC members pass a thorough background screening and compliance check through independent 3rd party Global Risk Management Solutions (GRMS).
